The Lend Lawrence a Hand Benefit Show was a success, it was amazing seeing all of the bands and fans come together for a good cause. This show was meant to raise money for Lawrence’s (venue’s security guard) heart surgery & to help his family through this difficult time. I was so happy that the show was sold out and over $3,000 were raised to help him. Lawrence was there and everybody was showing their appreciation towards him, thanking him for all of the great things he has done for the people who attend Soma (venue) and for the Soma Staff.
Before The Flood, LifeLong, Forever Ends Now, For The Win, Being As An Ocean and Jeremiah Johnson (all local bands) gave outstanding performances, all of them also made time to praise Lawrence on stage. The bands and the fans made this show beyond amazing.
The Lend Lawrence a Hand Benefit Show proved that if we all come together and unite through music we can achieve great things.
